Family Cord Blood Services offers in-house as well as extended payment plan options for all of our storage packages.

In-House Payment Plan Options

The in-house, 6-payment option is available for credit card purchases only.  Payment 1 is due at the time of enrollment.  The remaining 5 payments are due on the last day of each of the following 5 months.

To select one of our in-house payment plan options, simply indicate the option you have selected in our Enrollment Packet or call a cord blood educator at 800-490-CORD (2673) to enroll by phone.

Extended Payment Plan Options

Family Cord Blood Services offers many payment plans for cord blood banking services through CareCredit, a company that specializes in medical payment plans. CareCredit offers you payment plans from three months to 48 months. Payment plans up to 12 months are interest free, making it easier to bank your child's cord blood stem cells and to choose long-term storage options.

CareCredit will provide you with a separate line of credit for medical costs not currently covered by insurance. The CareCredit plan has no annual fees or down payment and has a quick and easy application process. You may begin using the payment plan immediately upon approval. You may also use your CareCredit card with other healthcare providers. Click here to view the payment plan options.

Please Note:
To open a CareCredit account, clients must be at least 18 years of age, have a Social Security number, a street address (not a P.O. box), established credit (credit cards, car loans, student loans, etc.) and have a minimum gross income of $1,000 monthly (recommended). A $25 administrative fee will be added to the total cost for clients paying with CareCredit.

To Apply Online:

1. Go to the CareCredit website at https://www.carecredit.com/patients/apply.htm
2. On step 1, enter Family Cord Blood Services and click search.
3. Select Family Cord Blood Services.
4. Complete and submit the online application form. The credit decision is given immediately.
5. Provide your CareCredit account information when you submit your enrollment.

2. Follow the prompts. You will not speak with a live person.
